Roy Lee was a very loving and caring person. He aimed to help all that crossed his path. During his life journey, Roy Lee was an entrepreneur having his own R & D Landscaping Company and Val’s Hometown Cooking. Roy made sure that many of his little cousins and friends had a place of employment.
Roy Lee is preceded in death by his father, Perry Woodard; grandmothers, Mary Thomas and Helen Williams; grandfather, Gussie Williams and many aunts and uncles.
Roy leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Valerie Woodard; one son, Danny Woodard (Chelci); one daughter, Johnesha Thomas; mother, Amanda Thomas; two Godsons, Roy Lee Thomas and Jarvis Barnes; two grandchildren, Samantha Goodwin and Jaden Lewis; mother-in-law, Addie Clara Smith; seven sisters-in-law, Maudesta Hall (Michael), Yvonne Jackson (Robert), Velia Smith, Patricia Williams, Flora Williams, Gloria Williams, and Annette Williams; brothers-in-law, George Woodard and Ronnie Woodard; two aunts, Emma Thomas and Betty Woodard; one uncle, William Thomas; a special cousin, Gladys Burnett; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
