Adam Troy Pointer, Sr.October 30, 1960 ~ November 10, 2017 (age 57)
On October 30, 1960 in Bay City, Texas, a baby boy was born to Lawrence C Pointer and Laverne Pointer, whom they named Adam Troy Pointer. He was affectionately known as “Tiki” to his family and as “Tank” to many others.
Adam attended schools in Bay City , Texas and was a member of the Class of 1980. He was baptized by Rev. T. L. Richardson.
Adam was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed tremedously. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, spending time with his family and friends. In his spare time he also loved playing Farm Heroes and talking on the phone.
Adam met and married the love of his life Lou Ethel Moore Pointer on February 21, 1986.
His transition from this life came to an end on Friday, November 10, 2017, at Matagorda Regional Medical Center in Bay City. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence C Pointer; grandson, Korlan D. Pointer; and two brothers, Lawrence J Pointer and James Hardison.
His memories will live on for years to come by his wife of 37 years, Lou Ethel Pointer; mother, Laverne Pointer; five sons, Adam T. Pointer, Jr. of Houston, Korey A. Pointer (Nykie), Marcus D. Pointer, Dylan T. Pointer, and Montel L. Pointer all of Bay City; one daughter, Camry Manning of Bay City; three grandchildren, Jaden Pointer, Ariana Pointer, and Ke’Anna Pointer; two brothers, Willie H. Pointer (Linda) of Louisiana, and Charles K. Pointer (Pam) of Houston; three sisters, Ingrid Smith (Douglas), Monica Pointer both of Bay City, and Regina “Cherry” Perryman of San Antonio; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
